KATV - Arkansas Teachers Endorse Mike Ross for Governor

MARCH 8, 2014 - KATV Ch. 7 reports on the Arkansas Education Association (AEA) endorsing Mike Ross for Governor of Arkansas. The AEA represents more than 12,000 educators and education support professionals across the state of Arkansas. The group said they were endorsing Ross because they felt he was the best candidate to unite this state and improve public education in Arkansas. Mike Ross is a fifth-generation and lifelong Arkansan who is running for the Democratic nomination to become governor of Arkansas. As a former small business owner, state senator and U.S. Congressman, Mike has a history of bringing people together to get results for working families. He is the only one who looks out for us here in south Arkansas.

David Lunsford - Rison

I'm excited to endorse Mike Ross, because he is going to continue the path we are on. Which is a path of fiscal stability, economic strength, and fairness for all Arkansans. He provides a clear choice against Asa, Coleman and Deborah. He will keep a check on Republicans and the forces that wish to commandeer our state and turn it into a incubator for extreme right wing policies. Mike Ross is great for Arkansas.

As a parent, issues relating to education are very important to me, and how it will benefit or affect my child's continuing education. Along, with that the issue of job creation is very important to me, as far as what jobs and where located here in Arkansas.
